GN2 poaches Colliers’ City office head

Colliers International’s head of City office, Julie Rees has been poached by the new company launched by a number of ex-Godfrey Vaughan directors.

Rees is joining GN2 as an equity partner, and will concentrate on City deals. She will be working with her former Godfrey Vaughan and Colliers colleague Charles Godfrey, and two other partners who launched the agency in January.

She has worked in the Central London division at Colliers for the past four years, alongside the West End agents.

The launch of GN2 coincided with the end of a tie-in period following the acquisition of Godfrey Vaughan by Colliers three years ago.

Colliers chief executive Tony Horrell said: “I have very much enjoyed working with Julie and would like to thank her for all her hard work. She leaves with our best wishes for the future.”

Director Mark McAlister who had been working alongside Rees, will now solely have the role of head of City office at Colliers.
