Lease Renewals

A lease expiry is a lease event that requires careful planning and consideration whilst simultaneously providing Landlord’s and Tenant’s an opportunity to consider occupational requirements. 

For Landlords a lease expiry provides an opportunity to exploit potential wider asset management opportunities, and for Tenants an opportunity to consider future property options in the context of their wider business plan.  

Due to the complexity of the process, seeking early advice is highly recommended, particularly should the lease be held within the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954, if so timings become imperative to negotiations.
