Three more occupiers take City fringe space

Three more occupiers in the media and tech sectors have signed up to take space in the City fringes.
PR agency, CCGroup, advised by GN2, has acquired the top two floors of the completely refurbished building, 207-216 Kings Cross Road, WC1 totalling 3,500 sq ft plus a terrace. GN2 is simultaneously marketing CCGroup’s existing smaller premises in North Gower Street of 1,676 sq ft.

GN2 also advised Noah Media, the film and digital media specialists on the completion of 32 Clerkenwell Green, EC1 taking the entire self-contained building consisting of 2,799 sq ft on a five year term.

These deals follow hot on the heels of GN2 advising Dunlop Goodrich (Creative) on its acquisition of 1,391 sq ft for new offices at Unit 3E2, Third Floor , Zetland House, 5-25 Scrutton Street, Shoreditch, EC2. Landlords were trustees of the David Zetland Settlement Trust. The space was acquired on a 5-year lease with mutual break at year three.

Julie Rees, partner at GN2 said: “These deals show that the demand from the media/tech sector has not slowed down and we are seeing more start-ups moving north and east of the City as they expand and take on new space. There is increasing demand for the Kings Cross/ Farringdon/ Shoreditch area which is competing with Soho to become the established hub for this sector.”

GN2 has also advised on a sale in the area, advising Magnolia Re Ltd on the sale of self-contained ground floor premises 29-30 Wakley Street EC1 to Carly BBLtd, advised by Colliers.
